How to Create and Share a Trust Gateway Payment Link

When to use a shareable payment link, what to verify before sending it, and how to follow up on a pending order.

When a link is the right checkout

Payment links work well when an invoice, chat conversation, or simple order needs a dedicated checkout without a website integration. Create one request for one intended payment so the order reference remains easy to trace. Include the purpose in your own records, especially if several customers pay the same amount.

Check before sending

Open the link yourself and check the amount, merchant name, payee, and expiry. Copy the full HTTPS checkout URL from your dashboard rather than a screenshot of a QR code; the link keeps the customer on the current order page. Share it through the channel you normally use with that customer.

After the customer pays

Return to the order record and wait for a verified status. A customer message or app screenshot can help support investigate, but should not by itself turn a pending order into a paid one. If the link expires, create a fresh request instead of reusing an old checkout. Keep the original reference for reconciliation.
