Dynamic UPI QR Codes: Amounts, References and Verification

Understand what an order-specific QR can include, what customers should verify, and when an order is actually paid.

What is a Dynamic QR Code?

Unlike a static QR code which simply contains a UPI ID, a dynamic QR code contains the exact order amount and order reference. When a customer scans it, they don't have to enter the amount manually.

Reducing Human Error

A QR that includes the requested amount reduces manual entry, but customers should still check the amount and receiver in their UPI app. Keep the order reference visible so support can trace the payment attempt.

Trust Gateway's Dynamic QR Solution

Trust Gateway creates a checkout request with an order reference. Use the configured merchant connection and documented status flow to confirm the outcome. UPI is not a blockchain network; a QR scan by itself does not verify payment.
